for career intermediaries, recruitment services, job seekers,
school leavers and people exploring future careers. It contains
information about industries with good job prospects, skill
shortages, vacancy trends and industry employment. It also
includes a matrix of labour market information (for example,
prospects, employment size, future employment and unemployment)
for about 400 occupations and for occupational groups and
clusters.

The initiative called myfuture.edu.au is an internet based
career information service. The service is for all Australians
who want to explore their career options, with particular
emphasis on secondary students. It is designed for students
selecting subjects, young people entering the workforce, people
coming back to work or those wanting to make a career change.
It enables them to explore their skills and interests, identify
their career ideas, develop their career plan and research
options for further study or training. The service also provides
information about occupational requirements, industries, small
business, courses, training providers, job opportunities,
financial support and much more.

The Jobwise portal contains information for employers, mature
age job seekers and mature age workers. The portal has been
developed as part of the Australian Government’s Mature
Age Employment and Workplace Strategy. The strategy seeks
to improve the labour force participation of mature age Australians.

and training courses, as well as details for over 3000 higher
education, vocational educational institutions and registered
training organisations. The course details are comprehensive,
with information about the campus where the course is delivered,
description, duration and structure of courses, selection
criteria, qualification, subjects, how to enroll, entry requirements,
course fees, HECS applicability, and contact details. People
can search to find courses by occupation, by region, or by
